Fundraising for Charities
North East Welcomers hosts a variety of events throughout the year to raise funds in support of our charity. Just a few of our fun events include: Pot of Gold, Fall Festival, Holiday Luncheon/Baked Good Raffle, Quilt Raffle, and April Fools Trivia.

We also have supported the charities by attending and/or volunteering at events hosted by the charity. Over the last few years, some members have attended Bravesgiving (Brave Like Me), Madi's House Fashion Show (Madi's House), prepared a dinner for the volunteers at May we Help and many more!

We were established in 1952 and we are Butler County's largest and oldest non-profit animal shelter. We occupy a 22,500 sq ft facility with top-notch amenities for our shelter population in Hamilton, OH. By adopting nationally recognized best practices, AFHS has been successful in maintaining high live release rates and is committed to providing individual care to local pets in need. Your support helps more than 5,000 animals each year.
